Dear Diary,

Today is Saturday, January 12, 2008.

I still can't believe the year is 2008. I feel refreshed and anew with the start of a new chapter in my life.

I woke up sick with a headache and sore throat this morning, so I stayed in bed and did not go to Karate or Horseback Riding. I watched Gilmore Girls on my laptop for hours, breakfast in bed and a Hot Apple Blast from Caribou Coffee.

By lunch I felt better, and I went down to the basement to play with our new Christmas present, Guitar Hero III. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Guitar Hero: Guitar Hero is a game which you can play on a computer or as a video on TV where you try to hit frets on the screen with different keys on the guitar. I'm on the "Hard" level, and I can't defeat a certain song called "Before I Forget". On Guitar Hero III, you can also create an account online and play other registered players who are online. I played Guitar Hero for about an hour, and now I have started to gather up my sleepover items for Katherine's Birthday Party. Her invitation says "chocolate fondue, movie, and a sleepover". I love fondue, so I am interested to see what happens at the party.
